Discover the Sir John Bayley Club
The Sir John Bayley Club is a family friendly sports and social club located in Wellington, Shropshire. There are bowling greens, snooker tables, a pool table and a function room that can be booked by members and non-members. There is monthly live entertainment as well as bingo and quiz nights.
It has a proud history of serving the community for over 100 years. Our founder, Sir John Bayley, identified a need for 1st World War veterans to get together to talk through their experiences, to help with their rehabilitation into normal life. He donated the building and grounds to the club, which has developed into the social club that we have today.
